VALUATIONS

The Firm provides valuations for a wide range of purpose statutory and tax purposes, acquisition, sale and letting of properties, insurance, probate, etc.

All valuations are carried out by qualified Chartered Surveyors.

RATING APPEALS

Following the Local Government Finance Act 1988 and the revaluation of commercial property (acting on behalf of Clients both large and small) the Firm has successfully dealt with many hundreds of Rating Appeals.

The Firm has negotiated a significant number of reductions in assessments in respect of the 1990 and 1995 Revaluation and the 2000 Revaluation.

Clients include a local authority, a substantial restaurant chain and numerous local office, shops and industrial occupiers.

The nature of the properties range from leisure centres, restaurants in large shopping centres, office buildings, car parks, shops and industrials. Although a substantial amount of the work is locally based the Firm also deals with properties as far away as Nottingham, Sheffield, Birmingham, Leeds, etc.
